  : Horrible experience. Cheaply refurbished apartment at a high price. Rooms became chilly and gradually we realized that the heating didn't work. It became freezing cold. We had to sleep in our clothes. One bed was hard as nails, one of us slept on a sagging sofa covered in a sheet. Ants were walking around, and there was a snail in the fridge. Damp is coming through one of the walls with smell of mould. After repeated efforts, communication with the anonymous host first resulted in a series of automated messages and then instructions on how to start the heating (huh?? so why was it shut off?). And could we please send a picture of the snail? In the meantime a day had passed. We were instructed 'to sprinkle salt to get rid of ants' (which everyone knows doesn't work; and why should we have to go to the store to buy salt??) and 'leave no food lying around' (we never cooked there; there are also no instructions on how to use the cooking appliances). Then the 'service' promised to send 'an engineer' around (huh? We aren't tenants, we were visitors for a few days). In the end we received the optimistic message that we could 'expect an update with a resolution plan'. By that time our stay was over. Never again.

  : We were given the wrong code so we spent a lot of time figuring how to access. But luckily when we messaged, the response was quick enough. The ignition cooker was not easy to figure out. What would help is to have an instruction card fixed at the kitchen so it would be easy to refer to. Would help too if there is an instruction on how to turn on the heater. The stairs to the unit was also a challenge. But we managed between the 4 of us not so young adults. Hahaha

  : Location, location, location! Only 1/2 hour by train to downtown London and 40 minutes from Heathrow. The apartment is located between 2 underground stations and just a short walk to a fantastic bakery and also a great pub. The apartment was quiet and clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely reserve it again.
  : Only negative are the steep steps at the entrance, which people with mobility issues may find challenging.
